  • Road Closure A134 June 30th for approx. 9 days

Message received from Norfolk County Council:

Essential carriageway resurfacing work on A134 Lynn Road, Shouldham Thorpe, is due to start on Monday 30th June 2025. The work, which is expected to take 9 days to complete, weather permitting, will involve replacing the existing, worn-out road surface, and reinstating the existing road markings.

To ensure the safety of operatives and road users alike, a temporary road closure will be in place along A134 Lynn Road, from a point 90 metres south of its junction with C47 Mill Road and the C47 Runcton Road to a point 235 metres south of its junction with 21301 Coopers Lane, from 07:00 to 19:00 throughout the works. Access to addresses within the closure will be maintained throughout, although there may be unavoidable delays during this time. Operatives will be on site to manage any access issues in relation to the work.

The County Council thanks people for their patience while this essential carriageway improvement work is carried out.
