There will be a road closure on Westgate Street near the junction with Orchard Lane, anticipated from 31st May to 7th June.

Road Closure Shouldham Thorpe
There is currently a road closure on Shouldham Road, Shouldham Thorpe due to a burst water main. This is expected to continue until 2nd February. Alternative route is in place via Shouldham Road, Middle Road, Church Lane, Lynn Road, Mill Road (Shouldham , Shouldham Thorpe).

Local Government Reorganisation survey
The Government are consulting on different models of local government for Norfolk and Suffolk. Local Government Reorganisation will see the County, Borough and District councils replaced by a number of Unitary Authorities. A public consultation is open until January 11th 2026, and is your chance to have your say on these proposals.

Road Closure – New Road – 13th to 17th October
The Parish Council have received notice of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting New Road from its junction with Hallfields for 50m northwards, to facilitate new sewer connection works.The Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works which is anticipated to be from 13th to 17th October 2025, but may continue until the 28th November 2025.Alternative route is via: New Road, Fairstead Drove, Westgate Street, Lynn Road, Eastgate Street.Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.More info can be found at https://one.network/
