The Parish Council have received notice of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting New Road from its junction with Hallfields for 50m northwards, to facilitate new sewer connection works.
The Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works which is anticipated to be from 13th to 17th October 2025, but may continue until the 28th November 2025.
Alternative route is via: New Road, Fairstead Drove, Westgate Street, Lynn Road, Eastgate Street.
Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.
